They Honeywell portable air conditioner comes in several sizes, made to cool more or less square footage, and optionally comes with a heat pump to operate as a space heater. Thermostatically controlled with several modes and settings, you can carefully manage your cooling, or set it and forget it.
We enjoy this air conditioner, but find the fan to be a little under-powered. We place a small fan on top to help push the cool air across the room and it easily cools double the reported space.
